This Privacy Policy applies to all users who access or use the Mindful Career website, booking platform, and career counseling services (collectively, the “Services”), and it explains:

GoDaddy Universal Terms of Service

We collect only the minimum necessary personal information to provide our Services effectively and securely, including:

• Billing Information: credit card details (processed securely via GoDaddy's platform)
• Usage Data: activity on our platform, browser type, IP address
• Session Records: anonymized, for internal service improvement and audit purposes

We do not collect any Protected Health Information (PHI), nor do we request or retain sensitive personal data unless explicitly consented to and required to deliver a specific Service.

We may use your data to:

• Process bookings and deliver Services
• Communicate with you about your sessions or updates
• Maintain anonymized client records for internal reporting
• Ensure quality assurance across our provider network
• Comply with legal or regulatory requirements

All personal data is used exclusively for internal operational purposes unless otherwise required by law or explicitly consented to by you.

Mindful Career retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose it was collected for:

All information shared during coaching sessions is considered confidential. Mindful Career ensures that:

• Coaches are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality
• Session notes are anonymized, encrypted, and access-restricted
• No recordings or written transcripts are retained without written consent

Coaches are independent professionals and responsible for upholding these standards as part of their professional code of conduct.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access or request a copy of your personal data
• Correct, update, or delete your information
• Withdraw consent for future data processing
• Request restriction or objection to certain data uses

We take all reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, including:

• SSL encryption of all platform data

Mindful Career does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. However, we rely on certain service providers (such as GoDaddy, Stripe, or payment gateways) to securely process payments and host session data.

These vendors are contractually obligated to protect your data and act only on our instructions.

As a company headquartered in Canada with clients across the U.S. and globally, your data may be processed outside your jurisdiction. Where applicable, we implement safeguards for cross-border data transfers consistent with GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses.

In the event of a data breach involving your personal data:

• We will notify you promptly via email
• We will report the breach to applicable data protection authorities, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (PIPEDA), as required by law

Our Services are intended for users over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or solicit data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have unknowingly collected such information, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.
