Our team of 45+ organizational psychologists, career counsellors, academic advisors, and career strategists blend behavioural science with compassion to help you find clarity, confidence, and direction in your career, not just advice, but results that change lives.

CEO & Founder | Organizational Psychologist | Human Behaviour Specialist
Iβm Miriam Groom, Founder of Mindful Career, Organizational Psychologist and Human Behaviour Specialist. I help people answer one of lifeβs most important questions: βWhat am I actually meant to do with my life?β
My journey into this work wasnβt linear β it was personal. Over a decade ago, despite a successful career on paper, I hit rock bottom. I was burned out, depressed, and completely disconnected from myself. I searched everywhere for help, but every solution felt surface-level. No one could show me how to find a career that truly fit , one that matched not just my skills, but my mind, my personality, and my life needs.
So, I built what I couldnβt find. I returned to school, became an Organizational Psychologist, and developed a comprehensive set of frameworks that blend behavioural science, advanced psychometrics, and holistic guidance.
These frameworks became the foundation of Mindful Career β a globally recognized, award-winning career psychology firm that has now helped over 10,000 people worldwide rediscover who they are, unlock their purpose, and transition into careers that fit both their brain chemistry and their life goals.
My background includes over 20 years of experience in human capital strategy, including roles as an Executive Director in KPMGβs Human Capital Advisory, and as the VP of Canadaβs top national recruitment firm for over 15 years. Iβm also a trained naturopath, which allows me to take a truly holistic approach, because your career isnβt just about your resume. Itβs about your mental health, your well-being, your energy, and the life you want to build.
Our methods are trusted by Fortune 500 leaders, and have been featured in Forbes, NBC, CTV News, and Harvard Business Review. They work β because theyβre designed to go deeper than surface-level coaching or generic advice. This is career psychology done differently.
If youβre feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or uncertain about whatβs next β Iβve been there. You donβt have to figure it out alone.
Our team is here to guide you toward the career β and the life β that was meant for you.
